Dr. Colette Reynolds is a Nutrition and Child’s Healthy Eating Coach and founder of Growing Healthy Eaters. She 's also a mum to 2 young boys.
She works directly with parents to help children enjoy a wide variety of foods, take the stress out of family mealtimes and develop lifelong healthy eating habits. This is available in Galway and throughout Ireland (online or by phone). She also works with companies and parent groups delivering healthy eating talks.
Prior to founding Growing Healthy Eaters, Dr. Colette’s background includes coaching, health promotion and psychology. She has coached adults in Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment Facilitation, delivered health education talks to community and workplace groups as a Health Education Advisor with the Irish Cancer Society and lectured in Public Health and Psychology.
She holds a BA in Psychology from Trinity College Dublin, a Masters in Health Psychology and a Doctorate in Health Promotion from NUI, Galway. She is a graduate of the Irish Institute of Nutrition and Health (IINH) with a BTEC Advanced Diploma in Nutrition and Health Coaching and is a member of the UK Health Coaches Association. She has completed additional training in Food Parenting with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics in the US as well as accessing the latest international research on fussy eating.
Dr. Colette is a regular contributor to the Expert Panel on www.mummypages.ie, and has written articles for www.familyfriendlyhq.ie, www.whatsupmum.ie, www.mykidstime.com and www.rollercoaster.ie; as well as being interviewed on local radio including Galway Bay FM and Galway Community Radio.
