I'm a Nutrition Coach and Child's Healthy Eating Specialist.
I'm Dr. Colette Reynolds, a mom to 2 young kids and I've always had a huge interest in food and nutrition. Since becoming a mom, I’ve found that providing healthy food choices and good nutrition can indeed be challenging and frustrating (trying to keep all family members healthy, happy & well nourished!).
I work directly with parents to improve their children’s nutrition and eating habits including picky and fussy eaters; through healthy and tasty food, as part of a varied diet for the whole family.
My background includes coaching, health promotion and psychology. Prior to setting up Growing Healthy Eaters, I have significant experience coaching adults in Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment Facilitation, delivering health education talks to community and workplace groups with the Irish Cancer Society and lecturing in both Public Health and Psychology.
I have a degree in Psychology (TCD), a Masters in Health Psychology and a Doctorate in Health Promotion (both NUI, Galway). I have completed an internationally recognised qualification in Nutrition Coaching (Pearson & BTEC award) with the IINH. I've undertaken additional training e.g., Food Parenting (Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics in the US), as well as accessing the latest international research and practice on fussy eating.
