Why Take This Group Support Program?

  • Using my extensive psychology background, I offer straightforward, practical and achievable strategies; focusing on HOW to help children reduce the number of times they eat, if they are eating too frequently.
  • The group coaching takes a systematic approach by providing you with the specific understanding, knowledge, skills and confidence to do this.
  • This content is based on the last number of years I have worked with parents, on a 1-1 basis, to empower them to  successfully reverse their children’s fussy eating, including reducing frequent snacking.

Why Is Group Support So Valuable?

  • You will be joined by a small number of other parents who have similar challenges so you don’t feel as isolated
  • While we focus on reversing fussy eating in one child as a priority, the general principles can also be applied to other children in the same family.
  • The advice I give is straightforward, practical, positive strategies you can start implementing straight away to help your childs eating; rather than just leaving it and hoping it will improve by itself.
  • While we focus on reversing fussy eating, this group support will definitely help to prevent the same pattern happening in younger siblings or with future siblings.
  • All the content I go through is based on the last number of years I have spent empowering parents on a 1-1 basis, to successfully reverse fussy eating in their children.

Who is this group program for?

This group support is for you if

  • You have poor eater(s), from a toddler up to 7 years old.
  • (I selected these ages as I usually see toddlers, starting from about 18 months old. The majority of children I help in my personalised consultations are up to 7 years old but I help older children too.
  • Your child(ren)’s eating has not improved over the last 6 months (or is getting worse)
  • You would like to fasttrack how to reverse fussy eating
  • You are interested in joining a structured programme over a number of weeks
  • You are interested in being surrounded by other parents who get it
  • You would like step-by-step support to learn how to grow your own happy, healthy eaters

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Before the support starts, complete the blank food log
  2. Attend 3 live zoom calls of 1 hour each (these must be attended live as they are not recorded)
  3. Commit for at least 9-weeks (the strategies in each call can take 3 weeks to implement) so that you are taking daily actions to prioritise your child(ren)’s eating over this time

Zoom calls happen every 3 weeks on Thursday at 12 noon (GMT)

You may feel you would like to make further progress, such as introducing more challenging foods and continuing to motivate your child(ren). So 12 weeks after the group has started I will send an email to see how you’re getting on.

If it is the case that you would like more support such as a personalised 1-1 consultation, I will offer a discounted rate to work 1:1 together. Or you can book a free 20 min zoom call (called Follow-up on Group Support.)

I hear stories all the time from parents about the huge toll fussy eating takes on families. Some parents tell me they can’t sleep at night as they’re so worried about their child’s eating. Other parents are very concerned that other siblings will follow the fussy child’s habits, which unfortunately often happens.

While some parents prefer personalised consultations, other parents prefer to receive expert support within a group setting. Therefore I now offer group support to help prevent feeding problems escalating to a point where some parents tell me they feel their child’s eating is hopeless.

This group setting provides support, accountability, as well as expert advice so you are more likely to succeed.

This group support has been developed by Dr Colette Reynolds (PhD) who has extensive training in Psychology and Health Promotion, as well as Nutrition Coaching and Food Parenting. Colette has worked with many parents, to successfully reverse their child(ren)’s fussy eating. She has done this through personalised consultations over the last number of years, helping toddlers and children up to 12 years old.

Why Do Parents Need This Course?

Poor eating habits can develop quite easily and quickly, without us even realizing it.

Estimates vary as to the extent of fussy eating, with some estimates as high as 50% of all children go through at least one lengthy stage of selective or fussy eating.

Plus 1 in 3 of typically developing kids (or more) don’t outgrow this type of eating; so for these children, their eating doesn’t improve by itself and unfortunately usually gets worse over time.
